08-04-2019 | digital | Shannon Sketch: wearing the jaw apparatus, and not too pleased with something, apparently.
08-03-2019 | traditional | Dakota and His Horses: He really likes his horses. also this is supposed to invoke the same vibes as those old paintings with the shephards holding their lambs - and Dakota is a tank so he can just do that to horses.
07-23-2019 | traditional, digital derivative | [REVISED]Graffi Sketch: this is one of the first times I'd drawn this guy in a while - when I was really thinking about bringing him back from a prior project. His body design has been updated since this was drawn.
07-22-2019 | traditional | [REVISED]Irritated Graffi: what's he so peeved about? He's always peeved! With the shape of his abdomen and leg placement, you can see some of the design elements that ended up being refined in his redesign.
07-17-2019 thru 07-15-2019 | traditional, digital | Pogo Foyer: Another kinda minor background oc, Pogo is an M-248 Buckner unit that lives in the US south and takes care of her human crewmate, their german pointer dogs, and their outside garden.
07-14-2019 | traditional | M-248 Buckner: An American single-crew light tank destroyer, this little guy is also commonly referred to a the 'sidewinder' for its odd ability to shoot around corners with an articulated gun, or the 'llama' for the sound its reloader makes when loading a shell into the breach through their neck-like turret base.
07-13-2019 | traditional | Verite: Dassault Rafale, and first love of Aristophanes Freling, Unit Number One.
07-08-2019 | traditional | ID Siblings: The term for two MAI whose base ID's are identical, but they have different millenium numbers. Since there is no real correlation between the selection of an ID number and the type of MAI, these two units can be wildly different from one another. More information on ID's can be found at Identifying and Differentiating MAI.
07-08-2019 | traditional | Michael: I believe this is a faux MAI based off of a german Puma AFV; I looked at him upon completion and knew in my soul that his name is Michael. That is all.
07-07-2019 | traditional | Kelly and Cozy Bed: sometimes one must simply have some hot cocoa with their emotional support sapient military hardware.
07-07-2019 | traditional | Faux MAI Article Cover: Title is self explanatory - this one depicts a TG MAI and a faux MAI based off of their model. "DO talk to me and my son actually; he is a very polite little man."
07-02-2019 | traditional | YEAH WORM ON STRING/Backpacker Tank: bro fucking loves worm on string - who doesn't, really. / Yeah sure he could just put all of the supplies into his hull, but wheres the fun in that? He likes looking decked out and ready for the great outdoors. ...Can't be too detached though; he made sure to get some bigger antennas.
07-01-2019 | traditional | Miko's Flghtsuit: Rare Miko appearance?? Personally still a big fan of this piece after the years and my kinda-improvement on drawing people.
07-01-2019 | traditional | Apollo West Reference: tank pack! Apollo is one of the more socialized of the bunch, but its more because he thinks humans are cute rather than in an actual mutual respect kind of way, whether that's better or worse.
06-28-2019 | traditional | Emcee Revised Reference: quite frankly he's just a little guy. A little man. A space probe meant to get yeeted onto low-gravity planets for material samples. Also his voice claim is the OG Tom Servo voice from Mystery Science Theater 3000 - Joel era, let's go!!
06-27-2019 | traditional | Kelly and Miko: They would, too! Kelly was a scrappy little bastard while he and Miko were still a duo.
06-27-2019 | traditional | Asriel Revamped Ref: For what Asriel was supposed to be, his hull style was just way too narrow - albiet having from pretty wackass sci-fi elements, this is arguably more fitting of the role of planetary defense.
06-23-2019 | traditional | Emcee Sketches: Sketches for planning out his revamped design; he was just a little too simple design-wise and a little implausible for the Livastia vibes of at least trying to be somewhat coherent to reality, lmaoo
06-19-2019 | traditional | Aircatching Athlete: Aircatching is a dangerous MAI-dominated sport that revolves around aerospace units affixing a spear to their nose, then using it to skewer free-falling objects in the sky. A noteable few have been seriously injured and even killed throughout its history, but it's just par for the course for those truly passionate about it. MAI may not have any equivalent to adrenaline, but sports like this bring them about as close to it as they can get.
06-16-2019 | traditional | [REVISED]Unit-2526 Cover Concept: This at the time was an 'exciting' first look at Dyson, the title character of this repurposed story concept. Dyson, Unit-2526, would later go on to be reconceptualized as Aristophanes Unit-0001-0. |
