04-17-2024 thru 04-20-2024 | traditional, alcohol markers, acrylic plaints | My Heart, My Light, My Other Half: With this piece in particular I wanted to make a mildly abstract visualiztion of the bond between an MAI and their human comrade - specifically with an Ampere, the love that is felt between balun and dynamo is equally felt and expressed as a love of the self as much as it is a love for their other half. I wanted to try and evoke the thought of that warm feeling you get in your chest when you look at someone or something you care deeply for, how sometimes it feels like your heart is ready to explode out of your chest; I like to imagine that as how it feels for a bonded Ampere to be together. |

03-27-2024 | traditional | Kelly Meets Loon: Once Kelly and Loon's articles have respectively been overhauled and republished, this will be a contextual image for both of them. This piece visualizes the first days after Kelly first helped retrieve Loon from Kozlov Lab, and his attempts to take care of him from a distance. Understandly after what he'd been through, Loon was terrified of just about everything and wouldn't let anyone get close to him. Still determined and desperate to see any improvement in his condition, however, Kelly did everything he could to manage his most immediate needs from a distance; refuelling, any kind of social interaction - repairs, however necessary they were, would just have to wait.
